The people active in the JMA are involved in both theoretical and/or practical teaching and in applied research and development (AR&D).This dual competence generates numerous synergies between teaching and research, with each feeding the other. A research project can thus become the thematic and theoretical basis for teaching, and the latter can itself constitute the field of investigation for a research project.
The link between teaching and research ensures that the results obtained and the skills developed are permanently integrated. Students and young graduates of the JMA also have the opportunity to be actively involved in research projects.
The JMA is closely connected to the research institutes of the partner universities and relies on their respective competences for the development of the teaching topics it offers.
